If Power Rangers upcoming movie was released a few years after the spandex-laden Television finished, the enthusiasm and buzz would probably be non-existant. But 20 years or so later trends and technology has changed, the mythology has been rebooted, modernised so now we have a movie suited for today’s young generation.

A few days ago we got our first clip for Dean Israelite’s Power Rangers when the gang discovered a spaceship and first meeting with Alpha 5. Today we get two more clips, first up the team take a dip into water and find themselves ‘glowing’ different colours. They go underwater and their worlds are turned upside down literally. The second clip called ‘Leave’ Kimberly reflects her life in her little town why she’s never left, Jason offers her a chance.

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Power Rangers will be ‘Morphin’ in a UK and Irish cinema near you on 24th March. Starring Dacre Montgomery, Becky G, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott and Ludi Lin, alongside Elizabeth Banks and Bryan Cranston.
