Fast And Furious 8 New Feaurette Celebrates ‘The Fans’

When you’re a movie franchise that’s got a long shelf life, next to the writing teams, a little help from the critics, you need a fanbase. A fanbase that will stick with you all the way like The  Fast And Furious franchise now at Fast And Furious 8.

When you look back at the early movies, this franchise looked like it would disappear without a notice or continue as a direct to DVD franchise. Tweak the stylings of the movie, give it a ‘franchise viagra’, crazy stunts that they out do each movie and off course loyal fans sticking with them. With Dom (Vin Diesel) turning on the family for the latest movie it will be interesting to see how those fans react.

In a brand new Featurette, The cast reminds audiences where this franchise has been and where it’s going. It also pays respect to loyal fans of the series, and everywhere the cast go around the world the fans are there to greet them. That passion and enthusiasm that wants the cast drive them to deliver the goods…

Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.

Fast & Furious 8 revs up in UK & Irish cinemas Wednesday 12th April. Co-starring Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky, Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren.
