Daniel Espinosa’s Life Goes Mondo In New Poster And Featurette

2017 is looking like it’s the year our screams in space will go unheard, with the return of the Alien: Covenant and later this month Life. Daniel Espinosa‘s sci-fi thriller that hopes to bring a twist on the discovery of life in Space and the primal fear if we did discover life.

To celebrate the movies upcoming UK &Iirsh cinema release later this month, Sony Pictures Releasing UK has sent as 2 exciting promos. First, an absolutely fantastic poster created by those awesome folks at Mondo who design the best limited edition posters, collectables, reissues and apparel for some of the classic movies. Below the poster is a brand new featurette that takes in Nasa’s recent announcement of the discovery of 7 new planets!

The clip contains footage from the film as well as great pieces to camera from Dr Adam Rutherford and Dr Kevin Fong – a British geneticist and Space and Emergency Medicine expert respectively, who assisted on the making of Life.

Given the discovery of 7 Earth-sized planets, there’s been no better time to ask the question – is there other life waiting for us out there?

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

Life is set for a 24th March UK&Irish cinema release and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare and Olga Dihovichnaya.
