Watch New Hidden Figures New Clip And Featurette

Very soon these 3 remarkable ladies will no longer be ‘Hidden Figures‘, but figures of inspiration, when Theodore Melfi‘s movie finally arrives on UK shores. Ever since it’s American release around Christmas time the positive buzz on the movie has been extraordinary, a movie that’s surprised so many on how good it was. Now it has been attracting awards, a recent winner of the outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture SAG Award.

Today we celebrate that achievement with 2 new assets from Twentieth Century Fox. First up is a movie clipGive Or Take” we see Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson) using her phenomenal skills to solve John Glenn’s landing zone.

In the second video, ‘Modern Figures: Elena Poniatowskafeaturette, where ex Journalist Elena Poniatowska shares her own struggle trying to make it as a woman in the world of journalism and how the work of Katherine Johnson has inspired her life and how important it is to be recognised.

HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanised the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

Hidden Figures stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge, Glen Powell and Kevin Costner and is directed by Theodore Melfi.

Hidden Figures is out in the UK & Ireland 17th February.
