In Why Him? New Trailer, James Franco A Father’s Worst Nightmare

why-him

In every little girl’s eyes, her father is her prince charming, her hero and when she finally grows up, there’s no man good enough for her. Wait until Why Him? Every Father’s nightmare comes true well for Bryan Cranston at least when he’s introduced to his daughter’s new boyfriend…James Franco. “I think you might be insane” watch the new trailer…

In the new  second UK Trailer  follows the same carefree Laird who drives Ned up every wrong way. Despite been a ‘zillionaire’if your obnoxious, and awkward your not good enough and Daddy will be overprotective.Ned is one role Cranston excels at agitated dad, it takes him back to his Malcolm In The Middle days. Dads around the globe will unite with him  especially those with daughters.

In Why Him? Over the holidays, Ned (Bryan Cranston), an overprotective but loving dad and his family visit his daughter at Stanford, where he meets his biggest nightmare: her well-meaning but socially awkward Silicon Valley billionaire boyfriend, Laird (James Franco). The straight-laced Ned thinks Laird, who has absolutely no filter, is a wildly inappropriate match for his daughter. The one-sided rivalry—and Ned’s panic level—escalate when he finds himself increasingly out of step in the glamorous high-tech hub and learns that Laird is about to pop the question.

This looks familiar ground in comedy tropes, so the test will be down to purely how well things are delivered. They have one advantage a solid cast and 2 lead actors who love playing similarly flustered or oddball characters. The question, are you willing to leave the warm confines of your home to venture out to your local cinemas on Boxing day?

Why Him? will hope you laugh through the festive season when it’s released in UK&Ireland on Boxing Day 26th December. The movie also stars Zoey Deutch,Megan Mullally, Keegan-Michael Key, Andrew Rannells, Casey Wilson, and Adam DeVine.
