Allied First UK Trailer Reveals The Dangers Of Love And War

It’s been a rough time in the now former Brangelina household after Brad Pitt filed for divorce with Angelina Jolie but life must go on. In the first full UK trailer for Robert Zemeckis, Allied Brad is back in the thick of the dangers of love but the dangers of World War 2 espionage…

Whilst the romance is in the air during Zemeckis Wartime war drama was this the ‘affair’ Pitt that started on the screen that continued off the screen with Marion Cotillard? The allegations are dropping like bombs literally like the grenades on the Nazi’s in receptions and tanks. Explosive trailer and we’re not just talking about the bombs!

Allied follows Max Vatan (Brad Pitt) and Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard),a British Intelligence and French Resistance assassins who fall in love during a mission in Casablanca in 1942 to kill a German ambassador. A future together, however, is thrown into tumult when twisty secrets from their pasts cast doubts on their love for each other.

After 2 TV Spots (1 posted at facebook page)we finally get a first proper look at the film and our main characters. They may be dangerous between the sheets but we see they can also handle a gun and themselves too. We also get teased about Marianne potential double spy, the question is, has this trailer revealed too much or the story or just a good marketing ploy? We do get to see how that relationship that sparked in Africa has become a full blown relationship but is this a good part of the movie’s storyline? We can’t really tell but if your waiting to see the film it might be good to watch this after you see the film next month.

Based on a spectacular story told to the film’s scribe Stephen Knight about a young man, it’s the perfect type of film Zemeckis loves to make. Overly spectacular as well as very dramatic, potential Oscar bait? Possibly and in the words of Pitt’s Max “Is this a game? A test?” voice replies… “Everything is a test

Allied is now confirmed for 25th November UK &Irish cinema release date. The film also stars Lizzy Caplan, Matthew Goode, Raffey Cassidy, Charlotte Hope, and Jared Harris.
