Meryl Streep Is Tone Death In Florence Foster Jenkins New Trailer

When it comes to inspiring young female actors to aim for the best, can’t go wrong with Meryl Streep, she’s achieved everything. In Florence Foster Jenkins New UK Trailer  she maybe tone death  she still inspires those looking for a voice to go for the jugular even if your worst ever…. ever!

Music maybe Florence life and soul but who seriously is going to tell she is a little…flat?!Que that Doctor Pepper (or Irn Bru depending where you are) moment for Hugh Grant, can he tell her she can’t sing?

Florence Foster Jenkins tells the inspirational true story of the eponymous New York heiress who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great singer. The film celebrates the human spirit, the power of music and the passion of amateurs everywhere.

When it comes to Streep films these days it’s a near assured solid, reliable performance from the actress, her dedication to her craft is second to none. Whilst I may not be the biggest fan of period based films like this you can clearly see the cast must have had a blast acting in this . When you portray a character which you know has no talent deliver a straight up but very funny performance, very few actors can pull this off. Streep is one of those who can and looks like she has again with this film, her track record proves she is one of the best. Ironically this is not only movie that will portray a woman with an awful voice who believes she’s divine. French film Margureite (out UK 18th March) which has already award winning and clearly another potential great movie to watch.

Florence Foster Jenkins is set for a 6th May UK cinema release. The film co-stars Simon Helberg as Florence’s long suffering piano accompanist, Rebecca Ferguson and Nina Arianda.
