Dark Places follows the chilling story of Libby Day (Charlize Theron) who was only eight years old when her family were brutally murdered in their rural Kansas farmhouse. Almost thirty years later, she agrees to revisit the crime and uncovers the heart-wrenching truths that led up to that tragic night, but what happens when you try to find light in dark places? Academy Award-winner Charlize Theron and a supporting cast of leading Hollywood talent including Nicholas Hoult, Christina Hendricks and Chloë Grace Moretz star in this nail-biting thriller.

If this is anything like Gone Girl we won’t be surprised if we get some plot twists, though I do warn ypu this trailer does give suggest of one of those possible twists. There is suggestions of possible Satanic rituals/involvement, and the group Nicholas Hoult is part off is draped in mystery. Tense, on the knife edge chills here that might have more twists than the Amalfi Drive.

Dark Places will be released in cinemas in February 2016, and will also be available to download digitally available on Blu-rayTM and DVD in February (exact dates TBC), courtesy of Entertainment One.Film also stars Tye Sheridan and Corey Stoll and directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner (Sarah’s Key, Pretty Things).
