Join Us! Short Film Writers Wanted

Films come in all shapes and sizes, here at The Peoples Movies plus our sister site Cinehouse we love them all. 2015 we’re expanding experimenting in new territories and we’re looking for new writers to join us looking after the short films.

We’re looking for a couple of passionate determined individuals who believe in the power of shorts and it’s importance to feature films.You’ll report, promote and review films in a constructive critical but entertaining manner, post relevant news and trailers for upcoming films. There maybe chances to attend special previews or attend festivals review the films or any films sent to us (online reviews).

One of your weekly tasks will be to look after our new weekend feature ‘Sunday Short Theatre’ posting 1-2 short films every Sunday. If there is any other new things you think would benefit short films we love to hear about those too. As Cinehouse is our Sister Site there will be opportunities to share short film there too and as it opens the door up to more alternative genres too. There will be chances to work in others areas of both sites too.

So if you enjoy all film genres, have a passion to spread the word on some fantastic short films and can work on your own initiative we love to hear from you. Share your creativity, your ideas and though we can’t pay you we’ll do our best to offer you experience for your CV.
