The Amazing Spiderman 2 camera are now officially rolling as Marc Webb starts filming for the follow up to his re-booting of everyone’s favourite neighbourhood Spiderman and we have first full synopsis for the film too.
Synopsis
“In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy,” begins the official blurb. “Between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough.
Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.”
In addition to the above synopsis Sony Pictures have confirmed the recent gossip Paul Giamatti will be involved in the second film however they wont say if he’ll be playing Rhino or not. What Sony did confirm is Colin Feore will be involved but at this stage they wont specify what part he’ll play but could he be the new NYPD Chief taking over from Gwen Stacey’s father? Is he Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin as Webb confirms Oscorp will play a part in the new film especially as Dane Dehane is playing Harry Osborn as we know is Peter Parker’s best friend. Marc Webb also tweeted this Oscorp image, what is it and does it have relevance toeither the mystery behind Peter Parker’s parents disappearance or just something that maybe used during the film?

The Amazing Spiderman 2 has been set for an 18th April 2014 UK release and will star Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Sally Field with newcomers Jamie Foxx,Shailene Woodley and Dane Dehaan
