Here in Blighty we do love a rom com based around a wedding, our American cousins love the one based around the Hen and Stag Parties so what would happen if you cross the best of both worlds? Step forward The Knot!
To celebrate the release of British romcom, The Knot, we’ve been sent an new interactive redband trailer from The Works where you can chose whether to #GowiththeGirls or #RidewiththeGuys! Whatever route you choose you will follow their ‘adventures’ to get to the church on time!
It’s a girls vs boys trailer to mark the theatrical release of The Knot, released in cinemas nationwide on the 5th October.
The Knot follows the chaotic love story of a bride (Talulah Riley) and groom (Matthew McNulty) as they try to make it to the alter on their wedding day. They have to dodge secret lesbian affairs with maid of honor (Mena Suvari), a not so feminine female in the groom’s bed courtesy of the best man (Noel Clarke) and plenty more trials and trips along the way.
Every few years we do tend to see one sometimes two British films which do well at the box office not just here but also over the Atlantic, so could The Knot just be that film? The Knot stars a host of British and American acting talent; including Mena Suvari (American Beauty, American Pie), Talulah Riley (St Trinian’s, Pride & Prejudice), Matthew McNulty (Control, Looking for Eric) , Jason Maza (Fish Tank, Shifty) and Juliet Oldfield (Bronson). The Knot will be arriving in UK&Irish cinemas Ocotber 5th.
