Watch UK Trailer For Frightfest Premièred Tower Block

Yesterday might seem a lifetime if you where at Film 4 Frightfest 13th closed with the world premier of James Moran‘s (Severance) Tower Block, as per usual the Frightest guys never disappoint. Pre Frightfest the buzz for this film wasn’t leaning greatly on positivity but the film does seem to have surprised so many people and tonight you can have a glimpse of the films trailer courtesy of IGNuk.

Tower Block stars Sheridan Smith, Jack O’Connell, Russell Tovey, Ralph Brown when residents of the Serenity Towers block who witnessed a murder a year before find themselves under attack from a mysterious sniper who is killing them off one by one in a battle of survival. You could say Tower Block is a film with a moral message about those who witness something do nothing about it, the otherside its an examination of the threat normal working people live under fear and say nothing is the best method. The film does have a Attack The Block feel minus the big furry aliens, but with a John Carpenter stand off feel to it instead.

Tower Block will be release by Lionsgate in UK&Ireland September 21st, the film is also making an appearance at Fantastic Fest too.

Hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. When Jimmy is brutally murdered by two hooded figures, Becky, Kurtis, Neville and the other residents of the Serenity House tower block are witnesses to the killing but, fearing retribution, are too scared to give detectives any information and the police investigation is going nowhere.

One year later, someone has decided to take justice into their own hands. Picked off one by one, the tenants of Serenity House are under threat from a mystery sniper who has set deadly traps throughout the building keeping them prisoners in their own homes.

Unsure of why they have been targeted, the group put their differences aside and undertake daring attempts to escape the building. But with every exit leading to another death, will they ever escape?
