Watch UK Trailer for Brit Rom Com The Knot Starring Noel Clarke, Mena Suvari

What is it with us Brits with films with big occasions like weddings, Funerals, parties?Maybe it’s we’ve found the winning formula for the traditional rom-com? Whatever it is we’re like Team GB at the Olympics picking up medals we seem to make them non stop and this October the latest edition The Knot will be released and we have the films UK trailer. If its a British film it can’t be a proper UK film without one of our nations top stars Mr Britflick Noel Clarke who is also showing of his scripting talents too.The film is been labelled UK’s answer to The Hangover meets Bridesmaids and you can see in the trailer why this film may get that resemblance but UK romcoms can be funny but too squeaky clean, charming to be down right dirty. It has its moments and with that edge may just attract a few boyfriends, husbands to accompany their other halves to the cinema.

Soul mates Alexandra (Talulah Riley) and Jeremy (Matthew McNulty) are getting married. At least that’s the plan. Unfortunately for them, nonchalant best man Peter (Noel Clarke), bridesmaid Sarah (Mena Suvari) and an army of naysayers haven’t heard they’re meant to be together. Can missing bridesmaids, crashed cars, a trip to A&E, and a delivery of pig’s testicles stand in the way of true love?

The Knot is a romantic comedy starring a host of British and American acting talent; including Mena Suvari (American Beauty, American Pie), Talulah Riley (St Trinian’s, Pride & Prejudice), Matthew McNulty (Control, Looking for Eric) , Jason Maza (Fish Tank, Shifty) and Juliet Oldfield (Bronson). The Knot will be arriving in UK&Irish cinemas Ocotber 5th.
