Holy Manholes! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES New Nokia Trailer, Banner

Today has certainly what you would call Batman Thursday with the caped crusader dominating the posts at The Peoples Movies today. This afternoon we had Toshiba UK giving fans a chance attend The UK premiere in London then just over and hour ago we gave you a chance to Win Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Returns on Triple Blu Ray and Holy Manholes! we have more Batman goodies. Our friends at Warner Bros. Pictures saw that how much fun we’re having that they have sent us a brand new The Dark Knight Rises UK trailer promoted by Nokia and to top off a awesome new Banner!

The trailer is mostly of footage we have seen before but with some new, some extended bits in it to make it worth a look.I’m surprised its taken so long to bring out this type of banner but we have we love, a manhole graffiti style banner of Gotham’s reckoning Bane. The Bat logo is iconic but so is Bane and this portrays Bane intimidating over Gotham and possibly Caped Crusader himself. The Banner also suggests that a lot of battle may take place in Gotham’s sewers as well with the new trailer revealing that point and Bane dominates this trailer which has minimal dialogue to showcase the action!

We are virtually 2 weeks away from the film so we do expect a onslaught of The Dark Knight Rises promotional marketing to come our way, so as usual be cautious if your not wanting to look at certain things until after the films. Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine and Morgan FreemanThe Dark Knight Rises is released in cinemas and IMAX July 20th.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive.  Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good.  For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda.  Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile.  But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
