“Lets Sing The Thunder Song!” – Watch Seth MacFarlane’s TED Red Band Trailer

When you have a film directed and stars the voice of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane coming out the first trailer has to be Red Band? Correct and today the first official trailer for TED has arrived online!

Seth MacFarlane’s career certainly kicked off big style when Family Guy was resurrected from cancellation and I don’t care how childish people think it is, it’s daily viewing for me every night it’s on. So with so many spin off, projects now on various platform’s it’s no surprise a film was the next agenda and this summer TED will be at a screen near you.

Anything lower than 18 rating would be an insult to this film as it’s foul mouthed to brim and will have plenty of jokes Family Guy fans will adore , its trademark MacFarlane. Mark Whalberg plays John who after a childhood wish that his Teddy will come to life, which Ted (Macfarlane)does. Now grown up with a girlfriend Lori (Mila Kunis) John must wrestle with his conscience to get more serious with Lori or stick with his foul mouth mouthed, sex obsessed, pot smoking buddie Ted.

TED is one for those people with a immature sense of humour or simply someone who just wants a crude chuckle or two. Whalberg’s character and Ted have some on the ball sharp chemistry going here and you’ve got to laugh though CGI a teddy bear making sexual gestures ridiculously naughty but funny. No matter if the critics hate this when it arrives this will have a cult following, people will be quoting parts from the film but most of we’ll have a new generation singing the thunder song or can ….well watch the NSFW  trailer  !

Ted also stars Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Warburton, Joel McHale and Jessica Stroup with the film arriving in UK&Ireland August 3rd 2012.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted.  In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.
