The First TV Spot For PROMETHEUS Lands Online!

The past weekend I was like many film fans overrun with excitement with the barrage of new trailers for Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS. I was an doubter that this once Alien prequel (probably still is) now ‘Alien DNA’ film would actually work, contain the same excitement but also fear levels last seen in the film that has inspired this new creation. The more we learn about it the world Prometheus is set in or potentially what the film may hold has put the anticipation levels to another dimension but like any highly anticipated film we’ll still tread with caution as visuals can be deceiving. The past few days since the trailers it’s opened up a new can of worms for many sites trying to decipher the trailers to actually see how ‘loosely’ based Prometheus is to Aliens with many spotting more than just ‘loose’ clues that this could be more than just ‘DNA’.

At this stage though excited to see the film I dont want to see too much more to keep the real revelations for the film until film arrives in June. Don’t cinephiles even if I don’t want to see much more we’ll still bring you the new stuff as it arrives for those who want more. For now check out this new tv spot which has a second or two of new footage embeded in the spot.

PROMETHEUS stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Guy Pearce, Rafe Spall and Logan Marshall-Green. The film will arrive in UK&Ireland June 1st and USA June 8th.

Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.
