He Hates Spiders, Even Friendly Neighbourhood Ones, Watch THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Viral

It might be the start of a new week and it might be one of those Mondays you might actually like especially if your a film fan. Wondercon in California USA has dominated a lot of great stuff we’ve been getting over the past weekend and even today we’re getting new stuff all the time and its not more Prometheus goodies but one for Marc Webb’s THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN.

It might be exactly 4 months until The Dark Knight Rises appears in cinemas but 2 weeks before that on American independence day we have Marc Webb’s friendly neighbourhood webslinger keeping the streets safe for us all and at Wondercon a new viral was shown starring Captain Stacy (Dennis Leary). Mark of the Spider-Man released a faked news story segment for Daily Bugle Tv which has Captain Stacy been interviewed by the network his disgust of the masked vigilante that the people are calling a ‘hero’ and Stacy’s response was  “What kind of hero wears a mask?” . You could say Stacy might be the Jonah Hill type character for this film as sadly Jonah Hill is not in this film and Stacy’s response is straight out of Jonah Hill’s book of anti spiderman-isms and he gave a phone number to call which directed you a another viral site webbedmenace.com, a little like the Prometheus Weyland Industries business card did too.

The viral is not bad, nothing amazing, after the bumpy start with trailer one, things are looking up as trailer two was big improvement and early screenings have been very positive so you can tick The Amazing Spiderman as another film to see this summer on July 4th here in UK&Ireland.
