Do You Need A Friend? You Will In First Trailer SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD

At least one thing we know as the clock counts down to the end of days our favourite classic rock hits will still be playing on the radio, well it is in SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD. The first trailer and poster for Steve Carell Apocalyptic comedy about a man whose wife leaves him on the brink of a 70 mile wide asteroid about to destroy the Earth and decides to seek out out his High School Sweetheart with the aide of his neighbour (Keira Knightley). With three weeks to go before Matilda destroys the earth the pair set out not just to find that High School sweetheart but also her family too.

Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World looks a fantastic film perfect for Carrell’s acting style, when it comes to characters in crisis he is one of the best. Talking of characters this film does show off a potentially great character based story giving plenty of laughs but also some sad moments as well and if you love piss takes of corporates there’s a few in this one especially restaurants.

Great ensembled cast Patton Oswalt (as a sex craved man a new woman everyday!), Rob Heubel, Connie Britton, Gillian Jacobs, Rob Corddry,Adam Brody, Derek Luke, Melanie Lynskey, T.J. Miller,Melinda Dillon with Nick And Norah’s writer Lorene Scafaria making her directoral debut. Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World certainly looks to give the end of the world scenario a whole different dimension beautifully shot balance film which at the moment we don’t have a UK release date however Focus Features will release the film in USA June 22nd.

Set in a too-near future, a man searches for a meaningful connection as humanity’s last days are at hand. Can he find his greatest love at the worst possible time? As the respective journeys of Dodge and Penny converge, the two spark to each other and their outlooks – if not the world’s – brighten.
