After the fantastic Mortal Kombat:Legacy web series which showcased the power of the web and how it can re-vitalise tiresome franchise, it now looks like it’s happened again. Machinima the website behind bringing Mortal Kombat Legacy to the internet has now unveiled RESIDENT EVIL:FIRST HOUR a live action fan film based on the popular game, with the first episode of 4 a prequel to Resident Evil 2 game (not film). Obiviously Mortal Kombat Legacy got the interest in the game again and now there looks likely a new rebooted film to follow so it looks like this series may help game sales or simply prove there’s still love in the Resident Evil franchise.
Resident Evil: First Hour is a re-imagined prequel to Resident Evil 2, and follows Leon Kennedy as he and two other police officers find themselves trapped on a farm outside Raccoon City, fighting for their lives against an undead horde.
Fresh from the academy, Leon Kennedy turns up in Raccoon City only to make his first mistake and turn up at the wrong station. Unperturbed he makes a routine call to a farm outside Raccoon with his fellow officers, only to find something more horrific than he could ever imagine…
