First Trailer For Wunderlust Starring Paul Rudd & Jennifer Aniston

Back in the summer it looked like we Jennifer Aniston film choice was getting better when she played Dr Julia Harris in Horrible Bosses but she’s returned to more generic familiar surroundings with Paul Rudd in Wanderlust. The question is has Miss Aniston returned to old ways and is this funny? The answer is yes and potentially funny.

Rudd and Aniston play Manhattan couple George & Linda who are forced to move down south to Atlanta when George loses his job. After a few unsettling move in and around the country the pair find themselves living on a commune giving them some form of contentment. When I read the synopsis for this film right away my mind thought of the dreadful Did Your About The Morgans? But director David Wain does have a little better taste with the underrated Role Models which starred Rudd and the jokes in this trailer actually are funny even bordering on Red Band trailer variety, as for Miss Aniston this looks potentially another strong comedy performance too!

Wanderlust isn’t due out in UK &Ireland until March 2nd 2012 so there’s time for more footage and see if this flick will be worth your well earned cash. The film also stars Justin Theroux, Malin Akerman, Ray Liotta, Lauren Ambrose, Kathryn Hahn, and Alan Alda.

George and Linda are an overextended, stressed out Manhattan couple. After George is downsized out of his job, they find themselves with only one option: to move in with George’s awful brother in Atlanta. On the way there, George and Linda stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things. Money? It can’t buy happiness. Careers? Who needs them? Clothes? Only if you want them.
Is Elysium the fresh start George and Linda need? Or will the change of perspective cause more problems than it solves?
