Charlize Theron Is ‘Young Adult’ In Trailer For Jason Reitman’s Comedy

It’s only once in a blue moon a director or a team duplicates the success they had previously and this is the situation as Juno duo Diablo Cody & Jason Reitman as they team up again for Young Adult. The duo are hoping that success will strike again with this movie which certainly looks alot darker as well as less quirkier than what both are used to and the stars head actress Charlize Theron seems to have put in a solid performance as the young adult writer who isn’t the perfect person with alot of emotional baggage .I constantly think of the days gone by the great, crazy, bold things ive done or been too but the phrase move on is always thrown back in my face and its seems the same for Theron’s character, will it get her the Oscar nod some are saying she could get who know’s its going to be a mixed bag and probably end up going to Meyrl Streep as Dictator Margaret Thatcher in Iron Lady, hope not.

Not every movie goes to festivals but this seems the type of movie that usually does do the circuit but it never as it’s going direct to cinemas and that day is February 12th 2012. The movie also stars Patton Oswalt, Patrick Wilson and Elizabeth Reaser.

Here’s a slightly more ruder version of the trailer from /Film

Academy Award(R) winner Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary, a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). When returning home proves more difficult than she thought, Mavis forms an unusual bond with a former classmate (Patton Oswalt) who hasn’t quite gotten over high school, either.
