Here comes the bride…and the zombies by her side!…First trailer for [Rec] 3: Genesis

When it comes to the recent ‘found footage’ type horror movies there’s no denying [Rec] is one of the best, I don’t know about movie 2 as I’ve not seen it, the American version Quarantine was ok but poor in relation to its Spanish original. Late last year when news broke movie 3 as well as movie 4 are coming im sure fans of the franchise are looking forward to every moment and now [REC]3:Genesis has taken one step closer as Filmax have unleashed the first trailer!

[Rec]3: Genesis as know now is a prequel delving into the deadly virus origins how the people become the blood thirsty zombie like crazies, the first movie captures the terror of outbreak as the victims get locked up in their flats whilst movie 2 the elite soldiers go into to clean up the mess. For [Rec]3:Genesis  it looks like the movie going to spreadout as the virus stops for no one, its a wedding!!! This trailer actually was created quite smartly playing out as the wedding snaps eventually bringing the terror.

The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight, giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. In a clever twist that draws together the plots of the first two movies, this third part of the saga also works as a decoder to uncover information hidden in the first two films and leaves the door open for the final installment, the future ‘[REC] 4 Apocalypse.’
