The Official Teaser Trailer For Steven Spielberg’s WAR HORSE

A movie directed by Steven Spielberg is getting as rare as a Terrence Malick movie and now  we’ll have two in the matter of months: Adventures of Tintin: Secret of The Unicorn (October 26th) and this one Dreamwork’s WARHORSE. You might be saying but he’s doing this, that and everything else and you would be right; but that work is all as an (executive/) producer. 2008 was his last directorial effort with Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull, then back 3 years again for Munich & War Of The Worlds.

Back to the main attraction: WAR HORSE is an epic tale of friendship and the bond between animal & master: A horse named Joey owned by a young man Albert(Jeremy Irvine). They become separated when the British Army buy the horse, sending it into the trenches. Albert is too young to enlist but somehow finds his way to France, to search for Joey. Already there’s early talk of this movie being a contender for next year’s Oscar Ceremonies and its been a while since Mr Spielberg has been in the running for a very longtime, WARHORSE is certainly an epic, dramatic film which could easily be seen as Saving Private Ryan, but instead of Matt Damon they’re looking for a horse!

This movie is certain to be a massive hit like the novel by Michael Morpurgo which recently was adapted for the London’s west end and now a massive stage hit. Still a while until this movie arrives in UK & Ireland January 13th 2012 and stars Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Peter Mullan, Niels Arestrup, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irvine, Benedict Cumberbatch, Toby Kebbell.

Enjoy  the WARHORSE Teaser Trailer!

The First World War is experienced through the journey of this horse—an odyssey of joy and sorrow, passionate friendship and high adventure. “War Horse” is one of the great stories of friendship and war— a successful book, it was turned into a hugely successful international theatrical hit that is arriving on Broadway next year. It now comes to screen in an epic adaptation by one of the great directors in film history.

DreamWorks Pictures’ “War Horse,” director Steven Spielberg’s epic adventure for audiences of all ages, is a tale of loyalty, hope and tenacity set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War.
