On a Sunday afternoon you don’t expect to find anything interesting in your email inbox, as it’s usually a chill out day or a day to tie up any loosed ends, be it movie news from Saturday we may have missed; but we have received an email from Momentum Pictures.

Today Momentum Pictures have informed us that  THE WOMAN IN BLACK has a new UK release date set and I’m afraid to say, we may have a little wait of 10th February 2012. The movie is to be Daniel Radcliffe’s first lead role since he’s finished with Harry Potter. Some critics may see this as his first real test to prove he can live outside of the Harry Potter franchise, a role that he has grown up and lived with for 10 plus years.

There is no sure reason why the movie’s release has been changed, from October 28th 2011 to next year; I’m sure it will disappoint some, but don’t despair, IGN have released the first teaser trailer. Check it out below, along with the press release from Momentum Pictures that they sent us.

The Supernatural thriller is directed byJames Watkins based on the Susan Hill novel with the script written by Jane Goldman (Kick Ass, X-Men:First Class), with the movie also a long running  London west end play, which has been on stage since 1989.
