Hasta La Vista Baby! Arnold Schwarzenegger Say's He's had several offers For What?

What can a right wing Austrian (who for years was probably the 1980’s and 1990’s biggest action star), after several years in office as Govenor of California, do next? Well it’s looking likely that Mr. Hasta La Vista Baby, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is heading back to a big screen near you and according to reports he has plenty of offers. The Arnold Fans are reporting the 63 Year Old Austrian has had as much as 15 offers of work, but roles can you give to a action star who has basically done everything ?!

Well The website spoke to there hero at his annual Bodybuilding egotastic Arnold classic about what movies/scripts he was considering and this was his reply:

“Well, first of all it’s more 15 films, obvious ones from The Terminator to remakes of Predator and The Running Man and all of those things.  Then also a lot of original stuff too.  But I am also packaging a Comic Book character right now. I’m going to announce that sometime by the end of March or the beginning of April.”

So for someone who hasn’t had a lead role in over ten years and looking at his movie track records before he sold his soul to the devil, sorry George W Bush his last few movies weren’t box office busters movre like box office flops: Endy Of Days, 6th Day, Colteral Damage (thats Channel 5’s full regular tv line up throw in the odd Segal and Cage Film too!).

Do studio’s see Schwarzenegger as Mr Franchise and after so many dissapointing franchises or non starters they want him to kick-start the ball rolling again? maybe possibly more he’s getting  the momentum built up as his little cameo did help the Expendables even if it was just a one liner and lighten up a big Cuban. The talk of Arnie going back to some of the old franchises like Terminator, thats a no brainer with him as studio’s begged for his signature and even wanted him in Terminator Salvation even though he was in CGI form. Predator is another one though why remake it when you just released a new version last year? Total Recall is been remade with Colin Farrell as for Running Man a possiblity though The Hunger Games is basically a updated version. But why use Arnie when you can have a younger cheaper version?

The other talk is of ‘original’ ideas but I cant see this been his route as its too much improvisation and work for him. One of those ideas was a World War 2 project but could this project also be comic book related movies he’s mentioned too? Sgt Rock anyone? I doubt it World War 2 and Austrians dont go well together even more surreal he would be a American GI. The talk is the comic book character is something original we’ll just have to wait and see as Arnie says a annoucement will be made in the next few weeks which sounds good to us here.
