The Wolfman Trailer [HD]

The Trailer for The Wolfman is finally here and you can watch it here……Thanks to our friends at FirstShowing.net they bring us the first offical trailer for Joe Johnston (Jurassic Park 3, Hildago) The Wolfman. The film stars Benico Del Toro in the lead role, with Emily Blunt , multi-talented Hugo Weaving , and Anthony Hopkins.

The Horror classic is about Lawrence Talbot (Del Toro), a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother… and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, (Blunt) tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.

This film has had its fare share of problems (but what movie doesn’t?) and even though I’m a big Horror fan I’ve not always been a fan of the werewolf but watching this it looks great stuff and I have to agree with First Showings comment that Joe Johnston seems to been  the right man to direct this, and its not everyday I agree with director choice (mmmm…McG? ).He brings a splash of colour and excitement to this gothic classic and he knows how and when to use the special effect to full effect.

Joe Johnston has had help from writers Andrew Kevin Walker (Sleepy Hollow, Se7en, 8mm) and David Self (thirteen days, road to perdition0n.)Film will be released by Universal Studios and the film will now be released on February 12th 2010 instead of November this year, so enjoy the trailer and please leave a comment…..
